About the event
Overview
This 5-week support group provides a safe and empowering space for women to explore the complex relationship between body image, diet culture, weight, and mental health. Through guided discussions, therapeutic exercises, and peer support, participants will gain insights into the societal pressures and personal experiences that shape their self-perception. The group will work towards fostering self-acceptance, improving mental well-being, and promoting a healthy relationship with one’s body.

Dates: Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:15 pm; 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, and 10/10
Location: Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, 8470 Goodwood Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806
Cost
$40 per session; $200 for entire series; Aetna, BCBS, United Healthcare, LSUFirst/WebTPA insurances accepted
Target Audience
Adult women (18+) who are looking to improve their relationship with their body in a supportive group setting.
